Spiritual Care

The Spiritual Care Program has a mission to serve and encourage meaningful and purposeful relationships in, out, and around the community. These connections are nurtured through spiritual practices, art, nature, and/or things that bring the individual(s) Meaning, Purpose, Sense of Belonging, Community, and as a source of Resiliency.

Reverend Gregory Jones

Social Justice & Spiritual Care Director

The Spiritual Care team serves as a resource to the individual(s) we support and engage the entire person: spirit, soul and body. We not only seek to be inclusive of all people no matter how they choose to express themselves, we also look to enhance the spirituality of each person (on an Inter-Faith basis).

Our goal is to help to build upon their existing faith foundation (if any) and offer ideas, activities, and companionship that will draw people into closer relationship with others through their spiritual expression and individual faith foundations.

Danielle Jordan

Part-Time Spiritual Care Coordinator

The Spiritual Care team is creating ways to evolve from providing care for the spiritual needs of people served by The Consortium to becoming a bridge for those who choose our services, which focuses more on supporting people as they take the lead in their own spiritual lives.

We believe in full Faith Community Inclusion and will work toward providing resources and supports to assist in building bridges with people in their chosen faith communities. We will assist in connecting people to becoming involved, and help them to find meaning, a sense of belonging, purpose, and full community participation.

“We are all connected one to another for a greater purpose than we realize.
I am committed to giving, serving, and providing the best of myself for the service of others.

Thank you for allowing me to live and express that with all of you here at the Consortium”.
